Palm Fronds Drawing, St.Michael’s Mount, Cornwall, June 2016

This drawing was made in the gardens of St. Michaels Mount. The fallen dried palm fronds which lay under the trees were collected and re-positioned at the foot of the trees’ trunks. The wider part of the fronds (where they attached to the leaf stems) were positioned at the trunks and the weathered grey points pointed outwards forming a circular star shape. The drawings measured c. 5ft diameter.
