Arty Parky Head4Arts Event, Autumn 2015
Continuing on the success of the Arty Parky event of 2014, a second year of community drawings in 4 public parks in the four different Welsh Counties (Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen, Merthyr Tydfil, Caerphilly) was held over a 9 day period. Four c. 18ft drawings were outlined using sheeps fleece and completed by varying numbers of participants in each park (numbers ranged from 80-200 participants) using foraged natural materials. Each drawing was very different and mapped the energy of the location they were sited within. An A5 postcard for each drawing/park was printed so that participants could have a copy of their work.
