Molehill Drawing, Hatterall Hill Spring 2015
This drawing was made in February shortly after many molehills began to spring up in the fields and gardens with the passing of winter. The drawing was sited in a beautifully peaceful field at the bottom of Hatterall Hill and followed on from the earlier molehill sketch that was made in a neighbouring field. As with the earlier sketch, this line of 6 molehills were crowned with a circle of moss and dried nettles and then encircled by the white straight dried nettle stalks laid flat on the ground. An aerial photo was taken with ‘Buzz’ (the drone) of the 21ft long x 7ft wide drawing. Thanks to Dai for his confident piloting skills that enabled these aerial shots.
