Poplar Wood Drawing, Out of Nature 2015, Almeley
This drawing was made using the annual cuttings from the willow tree in the garden. They were to be left to compost or put on the bonfire. Many of the branches had a bright yellow colour which gradually faded with time. The drawing weaved from the bottom of the willow tree along the banks of the brook edging the gardens lawn. The drawing was made in August 2009 and measured c. 12ft x 50ft.
